"For as we have many members in one body, but all members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.  Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them..." - Romans 12:4-6

Our Vision

Our vision is to LOVE. GO. GROW.

Love God and one another.

Go outside our church walls to serve and show the love of Christ.

Grow together in Christ and become His disciples.

What We Do

We meet together to worship and live in community as is our directive from Jesus.  We offer a worship service, small group Bible study, mission opportunities, and many other avenues to share our spiritual gifts with one another so that we might grow and be better disciples.

Our Community

Our church is located in Masonville, a growing rural community just three miles south of Owensboro. We are blessed with members from all walks of life who gather in one accord to love, learn and worship together. You will feel welcome among us!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  - John 3:16

I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. - John 10:10

Because of our sin, we are separated from God.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. - Romans 3:23

The penalty for our sin is death.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 6:23

The penalty for our sin was paid by Jesus Christ.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

If we repent of our sin, then confess and trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will be saved from our sins.

For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.  - Romans 10:13

...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10:9,10

Masonville Baptist Church has a place for your child in our children's ministry!   Our mission is to support the family with children's activities that aid parents in their roles as spiritual leaders in the home.  We expose children to Biblical stories and lead them to examine how to grow as young disciples.  Our ultimate goal is to lead each child to an understanding of salvation through Christ and what that means as they mature.  Our community outreach ministries include Vacation Bible School, a Back-to-School Bash, and Trunk-or-Treat.  Every child is important to us and welcome to attend!

The youth ministry at Masonville Baptist Church is a great place for middle and high school teens to study God's Word, make friends, and ask questions!  We are committed to reaching students with the message of salvation as we journey together through the Bible.  We also study culture as we sift through the messages teens receive from society today, hoping to provide each individual with a worldview that is undeniably Christian.  All activities help them to develop relationships that will provide support as they grow.  Each student is made in God's image and is important to us!

Adults at Masonville Baptist Church have many opportunities to unite with one another in learning, sharing, and discipling.  We encourage every member of our church to use his/her spiritual gifts for the edification of the other members.  We have teaching, music, mercy, hospitality, missions, and other ministry opportunities for involvement.  New avenues of God's leading are opened when His people step forward to offer their gifts and talents toward the goal of spreading the gospel and discipling others.  We are a place of prayer, peace and joy to all who join us.
